I asked because I'm an italian cook... and this is far away to be a Carbonara... not the italian original one, at least... But maybe somewhere in the world someone have created an alternative "unofficial" recipe...
Traditionally, Carbonara is made with egg yolks, crispy pork cheek and pecorino cheese. I've searched the web for an original italian recipe translated, the nearest I've found is [link] If you change the bacon with the pork cheek and the parmesan with the pecorino cheese, the recipe is almost perfect.
