I asked because I'm an italian cook... and this is far away to be a Carbonara... not the italian original one, at least... :)
But maybe somewhere in the world someone have created an alternative "unofficial" recipe... :D

Traditionally, Carbonara is made with egg yolks, crispy pork cheek and pecorino cheese. I've searched the web for an original italian recipe translated, the nearest I've found is [link]
If you change the bacon with the pork cheek and the parmesan with the pecorino cheese, the recipe is almost perfect. :)
